We always dissolved our daughter's tablets in water and syringed into her mouth. We never had a problem. She is 7 now and chews up the tablet and washes it down with a drink of milk or water. When she was younger I actually tasted a drop and it is disgusting but she's had it from birth and is obviously used to the taste.
