I also went thru both my GP and my childs endo for my dex for both pregnancies. My third pregnancy was straight after a miscarriage ( 2 weeks later) so I didn't have time to try and get an appoinment so I just rang my GP who asked my weight and conferred with endo who then sent me a script. My GP has a good working relationship with the endo dept so hopefully it shouldn't be too hard to get it sorted for you. They work out the dosage by weight so it's not that difficult. Best of luck getting pregnant.
