I live in the USA. I had a 2nd surgery done at 23, I'm now 41 and I will tell you that the fear I would have with sex before the surgery is gone. I had sex before the 2nd surgery and there didn't seem to be any loss of sensation. I know what they do today is so much different then what they did 40 years ago. I did it because I didn't feel comfortable with myself and after traumatic teen years feeling confused over what I looked like. I had been made fun of several times prior to surgery, so it was the best decision for me.
