My husband & I are both obviously carriers as we have a SWCAH boy. With my other two children though one is a carrier and 1 is neither. My sister-in-law is having a baby so my brother organised genetic testing to see if he was a carrier also. They found his undetermained so because I am in WA & he's in Qld they decided to redo it and send it to the lab in WA to compare with mine and also get my parents to get theres tested. An interesting fact came out that both my mum and dad are carriers for CAH yet neither of there 3 kids have it. Mum did have a misscariage 35 years ago so maybe that might of been gods way of helping out who knows. I just find that with this conditon it just seems to be pot luck as to who gets CAH in the family. My sister-in-law is not a carrier and my brother is still waiting on the results but all is well as she isn't. Just wondering if anyone else has had genetic testing outside there immediate family?
