I absolutely agree with you that little attention is paid to the psychological impact of CAH. Hopefully there will be more awareness of this dimension for the current generation of CAH kids. I know in my own childhood medical history notes in the early sixties, there are comments like " some psyche worries" but nothing was ever done nor consultations arranged with appropriate persons.
I think in order to cope I suppressed a lot through the years. It was only when I started to learn more about CAH, via the internet initially, I was confronted with the stories of others - both CAH and people with Disorders of Sexual Development such as AIS where the same kind of issues and emotions were encountered. Then not only the tears but the pent-up anger came flooding out! The anger still rears it's head from time to time with certain triggers.
Regarding the 'inner trembling' can you tell me where you found out that info? I have had it on many occasions and have heard of others who have it but my doctors look at me weird if I mention it.
