re: Hospital trips
Oct. 4th, 2006   7:26pm
After the first vomit we give or daughter a triple dose of her hydrocortisone tablets, if she vomits again in the next hour we triple dose again, if she vomits again in the next hour after that we usually make the trip to hospital.  Our daughter is now 7 and we are now up to 2.5 years since our last hospital visit (a record!).  Over the years we have been able to reduce the hospital visits from 2 or 3 times a  year when she was a baby I think due to the fact that her immune system has become stronger and we (and her) are able to recognise when she's starting to not feel well and can double dose and get on top of it before it gets on top of her.
