I was only diagnosed with CAH last week and still not really coping with it and trying to sort out all the facts. Because I felt rather uncomfortable with my Endo I went back to my (excellent!) GP today and he put me on Prednisolone - 25mg a day for 1 mth and then half the dosis. That seems quite a lot to me ... Does anybody else take Prednisolone ? Also, did you experience any side effects like weight gain or on the possitive side more energy and better moods ? I haven't read most of the posts because it's just a bit overwhelming, but I'm soooooo pleased to have found this board, because like many I feel a bit like a freak, now I'm just finding the best timing to talk to my husband about it ... usually he's great, but it's awkward for me it certainly could be for him. Has anybody experienced a better sex life after taking medication ? Am very lucky to have 2 beautiful girls who seem to be ok.
