Rosalie, hi again friend!
Oct. 11th, 2006   3:34pm

Hi there. So you take it twice a day then? Maybe I will do that, to see how it goes. Yes I was on too much for about a week. My 17 ohp was 40ng/dl in the morning, and I had taken the med the night before....and I could not get to sleep like that! I took 25mg for the excercise study at NIH. But after I found out how low my 17 ohp was I lowered to 17.5mg. 10 @3am, 5 @10am, then 2.5 @4pm. But when I actually noticed the puffiness, I because alarmed...I really am trying to lose some weight not gain it.

Some possitive effects I noticed was a more happier disposition, I actually woke up happy and in a good mood. Actually that had never ever happened when I was on too much Dex or had to stress dose, never! Also I have had trouble with constipation for a good part of my adult life, but while on the Cortef things were very normal if you know what I mean. Dex seems to cause me to have rabbit turd syndrome...I know..gross...haha.

Oh and I also had more energy, I think it was because I could get little boosts throughout the day. I'm am going to try 15mg this time, then work my way up to 20mg if I have to. But the way I see it, if 25mg brought my 17 ohp and everything down that low then maybe even 20mg will be too much.

So where do you get your liquid (Hysone) from? So they just inject the hysone with a needle all the time? aren't you glad you brought your meds with you? Take care, (((hugs)))

M1
