Hi Tamara
Yes, you have every right to be mad!! I think the abbrev CAH is wrong, it stands for the Hexed (they'll hate that one) and Angry Club, yep HAC, written by someone suffering from dyslexia. I just can't work it out.....why, oh why, do we have to live with absolutely incompetent Endo's? Why do other pts have things explained to them simply? Where is this "beam of information?" we're supposed to find out abt CAH? Tks so much for this Board is all I can say (xxx).
My father was a GP (and a surgeon - suffered from "surgeonitis" I guess), he liked my husband's Uncle. Everyone likes Brian, a Prof of Engineering and worked all over the world, specializing in earth distribution...say like dams or tunnels, Chief Engineer of the Snowy Mountains Scheme, then ANU and heaps more. When Stewart Diver died in a snow slide at one of the ski resorts, I thought: Where is Brian? This is his speciality". He's bloody terrific!!!
Dad liked Brian explaining complex things easily, eg Why do dams hold water? Brian explained it was like "Lumpy Gravy"... it is difficult for water to pass through certain barriers. Guess wot? Even if I expalined this to Brian this way, he would agree. He would then gently explain the difference. Yep, a Prof of Eng would not say I was wrong, only why I was right. Do you get that sort of info from medical ppl????!!!
Well, I'm on a Crusade abt this. Bit late really, esp when the last Crusade ended around the 1500's. I'm going to post abt what I know and what I've found out. Yeah, I'm sure it's been posted b/4 bt in silly medical text type information, sorry if I'm wrong.
Tks so much for replying dear Tamara. Yep, I mean you are a good, decent, dear person. I'm just a mad victim of this secret society we live in called CAH or HAC, whatever.
Love you
