The Single Most Annoying Question (true)
Nov. 6th, 2006   2:01am

Hi All

Whoever you are and wherever you live, there is one question which drives independent ppl crazy.  Personally I think it's the major cause of domestic violence.  The question is: "Wot's for dinner".  I immediately think: Can't You think of Anything by Yourself? or It's none of yr/my Business.  Everyday you have to face this sickening question.

Next you have to think of balance:  Too much protein?  Enough carbs? Vegetables adequate? Wot abt folate?  On and on it goes - they write books abt this.  Wotever I say will be wrong. I think that the lapdancing PhD student I'm on abt should research this too.

Forget abt everything else.  CALCIUM IS THE ANSWER.  Try cheese, milk - find a way to add flavour if you are like me and can't stand it, think twice the RDI (woo hoo means Recommended Dietary Intake, just showing off here).

If you think for one moment Endos are going to tell you abt this, forget it.  Yet ppl with CAH need lots more calcium than others.  You should have a bone density scan every 2 years at least and on the same machine (it's really exciting, you get to go to Nuclear Medicine.  At my hospital, they haven't split the atom yet but I'll ask next time, er...I think you could tell by the police and scientists around the place in the rubble which would probably emit a dull red glow).

I'm forever gnawing on the leg of that fabulous calium producing animal, the cow.  It helps.  Yep, forget abt what anyone else wants for dinner, think CAH and CALCIUM here.  Otherwise you might end up with that shonkie bone thinning disease called osteoporosis, whatever.  Ppl with CAH need to have much more calcium than others. Take it from me, tell them to shut it re "Wot's for dinner" and eat as much calcium as you can.  As far as I know you can't overdose on it. The End

See you later, love, etc etc, bye

farli
