Prednisolone
Nov. 23rd, 2006   3:05pm

My gal, 2years 6 months has SWCAH buy she is not the one on Pred. I am the one on Pred due to allergic rhinitis when its gets real real bad. My doctor has often described Pred as one of the wonders of medicine when usage is NOT abused.

A check on the internet does point out that long term usage of Pred can lead to high blood pressure ( hypertension )

Since you do experience episodes of heart burns, I would think a check with the cardiologist wouldnt be a bad idea ... just to ensure the heart burns would not lead to hypertension.

All the best.
