When did you tell your daughter about surgery?
Jan. 15th, 2007   4:43am

Hi, I am a mum of a 2 yr old SWCAH daughter who had surgery at 10 weeks.

I know I am thinking down the track somewhat, but was interested at what stage you started telling your daughters about surgery etc? Did they ask? Did your Endo help you explain things?

We received some boy/blue cards/emails at her birth and was thinking about destroying them or do you think it would be beneficial for her to read them at some point? I don't want to keep them for her but don't want her being agonised over them either.

Your thoughts?

Michelle
