re: When did you tell your daughter about surgery?
Jan. 31st, 2007   9:38pm

Michelle,

I was 3 years old when I had my surgery and I was old enough to remember the dialation and everything else that went out after the surgery.  My mother never told me the details until I asked her later on about it and I think that is a good idea.  Considering that this is one of those things that children cannot grasp at an early age or even in their teen years, I believe its best to wait till they are ready to understand.  Good luck and I hope you figure out when the best time to give her the news..
