Lucky Boy...!Lucky us....!
Feb. 11th, 2007   12:43am

My newborn nephew (3weeks old now), has been diagnosed with salt losing CAH,(after dropping from 9lb1oz down to 7lb7oz and being treated for reflux). The fantastic team at Princess Margaret Hospital in Perth, Western Australia, now have him on the road to recovery, he is slowly gaining weight,is more alert and feeding beautifully.

My sister is realing from the euphoria of having a much wanted baby to nearly losing him. She is worried about being able to cope at home without the constant help of the medical staff. She has a great support base at home waiting for them.

Does anybody have any words of wisdom for me to pass on to her? She wants to get in contact with parents who have or are going through the same situation.

Lisa.
