That's alot to deal with having both sons diagnosed with CAH. I have two children with CAH also.
Generally having CAH doesn't make you more susceptible to sickness but it can take some fine tuning in treatment and management to help them get over sickness quickly. Often they need extra cortisone to be able to recover from a sickness, if they don't have enough cortisone the sickness can just stay around or keep coming back.
If they have reduced energy or are a little more emotional than usual since moving up to Qld it may be the heat that's affecting them. Some families use Hydralyte on very hot days or when the kids have been really physical to keep their electrolytes in balance.
