I have 3 kids my eldest 9yr old daughter does not have CAH and my boys ages are 6 & 4. They were diagnosed last year after continuously taking them to Doctors telling them that being sick & tired all the time was not normal. My eldest son was tested repeatedly for diabetes since a baby. I'm just glad that we finally have an answer & treatment.
We live on the Sunshine Coast, and we have a GP here that used to be an Endo in Melbourne, he is absolutely fantastic with the kids. Our specialist visits are in Brisbane with Dr Garry Leong. The eldest son has to have Eligard every 4 months there.
Just wondering wether you would know if there was some kind of support group for CAH families around the Brisbane area that meet other families with kids that have CAH? I have looked everywhere on the net and can't find anything. I will be joining the CAH Support Group and am thinking of going to the meeting in Sydney as well.
