Hi Michelle, yes my daughter did have a febrile convulsion when she was about 4yrs old, she is now 16, and let me tell you that day still haunts me i woke to find her convulsing new to this i did not know what was going on rushed her to the hospital where they stabilized her and got her breathing again. She only had that 1 convulsion but i think it might have led to her having pettit mal epilepsy which was diagnosed when she was about 6. Thank god she has out grown as they did say 95% do grow out of it but she was taking tablets for it. She is fine now 16 and  a very lively girl. By the way she has swcah but it has always been very well managed. She plays allot of sport and keeps very active. Tomorrow she plays her soccer grandfinal we are all excited. I hope that every thing is fine now. Take Care
