My 7yr old has been on eligard and Zolodex since Oct last year, to supress growth and procautious puberty. Just recently, after his last dose, we noticed pubic hairs starting to grow back. I really don't know what to do as I was very unhappy with the last Hospital/private endo we had and just changed to a new endo. I feel guilty in doing this that I am prolonging effects on my son in the meantime and hope that we are not harming him in anyway?? The new endo needs to wait to get the last tests and bone scans from the other hospital before they can make a decision and this may take up to 2wks!! I really don't want to have to put him on lethrosol either as I feel as though there is not enough information on long term effects, is there anyone on it that could give me some info??
Is there anyone from SE QLD and if so what hospital are you going to? Just changed from Mater to Royal Childrens. I was told that alot of patients were moving there for the same reasons as me??
