Last week, our 13 day old baby son passed away suddenly after vomitting at home then turning blue. We rushed him to the hospital and he was resuscitated in ER, then spent 3 days in ICU. The symptoms he displayed during this time as well as some of the test results we have got back show point that he may have had CAH.
We live and work in Dubai but we'll be spending the next 2 weeks in Melbourne to spend time with our families. We've been told of gene marker testing for CAH, and we're keen to do this while we're in Melbourne. Does anyone have any information on where we can do this, or an endocrinologist in melbourne that has had experience with CAH? Not sure where to start and we're desperate for some answers and information...
