re: Testing for CAH
Oct. 24th, 2007   10:27pm

Hi Audrey

I'm so sorry you lost your son, everyone with CAH boys come so close to losing them so we all feel very deeply for you.

Firstly there is another family with a CAH child in Dubai if you would like to get in touch with them.

Secondly, when you are in Melbourne you should contact the Endocrinology Department at the Royal Childrens Hospital, Parkville - 03 9345 5522 (ask for the Endocrine Office).  On this same number you can also ask to speak to Elizabeth Loughlin.  She is the Social Worker there and has spent alot of time with CAH families, everyone speaks very highly of her (just ask for the Social Work Department).  You should also contact Genetic Services at the Royal Womens Hospital - 03 9344 2000 (ask for the Genetics Department).

Feel free to contact me if you need anymore contact details or information

All the best

Linda
