We have recently changed Hospitals and found out that the my boys have not been on the right dose of Hysone since the start of the year. My eldest son is starting to go into procautious puberty again, (it had slowed down), and a few months ago the youngest son had an adrenal crisis where we had to inject him and call the ambulance.
The worst of all is that I had been telling the Endo for a while that I felt that the boys were not under control and were getting tired, losing weight, getting sick easily and was obviously ignored.
When will Doctors start listening to Mothers that know instinctively that something is wrong?? I know we are all human and make mistakes but how could this have been overlooked? The Endo is meant to specialise in the condition??
I just hope that all will be well soon as Eligard is not working at the moment and both of them have now been booked in to have a Lucrin test? They want to test the youngest as well because they now fear that not taking the right meds for a while might make him go into precautios puberty as well.
It makes me so mad when I'm the one that has to deal with all the problems and issues that this has caused and I can't do anything about it.....
PS: The new Hospital is absolutely fantastic, they call me all the time and keep me up to date on absolutely everything.
