Hi one of my daughters with the sever form of CAH recently went on a school excersion to canberra from Swansea NSW for four days, i was surprised to relize that i had to double her meds for the entire trip due to the excitement she would be feeling this made me feel sick as we had just come home from a QLD holiday with both our girls who have the sever form of CAH and we drove there and back which ment they should have had there meds doubled then aswell i often wondered why for the first time my girls were in a confined space and did not fight once, obviously they were not at there best so thats why they were so quiet, and also i had to organize for them to be put on the ambulance register incase of an accident as the ambulance drivers could not inject the solu-cortef but now thay can, so heads up and remember excitment plays a huge role in there cortisole levels.
