I to had a health care card for my daughter, but when she turned 16 last year centrelink wrote a letter saying that now that she is 16, she isnt entitled to a health care card so now we are paying full price for all her medications and the crazy thing is that she is still at school, isnt this just crazy if think if some one has a life long need for medication they should get assistance for the meds no matter who they are and what ever age. Anyway good luck with your new baby and believe me it does get easier even though we still worry about them everyday.
