re: Do girls tend to have a highr dose of hysone than boys?
May. 9th, 2008   12:09am

Hi Lisa

That's an interesting point.  I don't know if girls need higher doses during puberty in particular.  You would think there is alot more going on hormonally than in boys.

My son is 7 years old and weighs 26kg.  He had a dose change last year and is on 2mg, 4mg, 4mg of hysone.  His florinef often changes, at the moment he is on a 1/4 tab am and 1/2 tab pm.

It would be great to have some Australian data on average doses for age & weight!
