I took Dexamethasone for about a year, i think. I was 115 and my height was 5'1 1/2 i gained up to about 167 after taking it. I got the moon face and everything. My doctor had told me that it wasn't the medication that it was the fact that i didn't excercise. Finally he went to a meeting and the other doctors told him that indeed it was the medications fault for weight gain. When he came back he told us so and put me on Prednisone. I'm currently on that and haven't had any problems with eating habits and i lost my weight immediatly. I'm back to 115 and all i have to remind myself of it is the fact that i have stretch marks. It's very depressing, but i guess you have to deal with it.
