Good luck Gisella. Your daughter will still be lovely, whether short or tall but the earlier CAH is diagnosed, the more chance she has of reaching her full height potential. Treatment does vary considerably throughout the UK and should your daughter be diagnosed with CAH (although I still think it unlikely), I can point you in the direction of a good paediatric endocrinologist.
Interesting to hear you are not on treatment. Don't you get exhausted? I do think you were put on the wrong medication for someone with only a mild form of CAH (dexamthasone is a very strong steroid!) and you were obviously given poor advice. If you are struggling, you may also want to consider seeing another specialist yourself - I know an excellent adult endocrinologist who could help and who would not put you on steroid medication unless he thought it necessary. Think about it!
