Some of the names that continually come up in medical journal/articles written about CAH are, Dr Gerard Conway (consultant endocrinologist who has been at the UCL/Middlesex in the past - may still be there). Miss (Dr) Sarah Creighton, (consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist) who has done a lot of CAH research. Dr Richard Stanhope's name comes up quite regularly in relation to CAH - he, I believe is a paediatric endocrinologist). Dr Catherine Minto also, but I think she may be a researcher not an endocrinologist.
None of these people I can vouch for personally, apart from their knowledge and the standard of research, they have done. Who knows what their chair/bedside manner is like!!!!
I'm not in the UK but I'm sure others could give you more names of competent endocrinologists. See Sue's post below.
