I have found the problem in the UK is that you do not always get continuity of care as you do not always get to see the consultant. Registrars change here, every six months I think, so you see someone different each time. I have heard that the clinics in London are like this too, so was really looking for someone who has had good experiences. My daughter is at a difficult age - 12 - so I would be very grateful to hear from anyone who has had good experiences with a caring endocrinologist, who has a good beside manner.
