re: Daughter with SWCAH - anyone from northern ireland? Sep. 4th, 2003 5:44pm
Hello Pat, I haven't been to this board in ages. I have a 24yr old son and a 20yr old daughter with the same condition. They went to the Royal Childrens Hospital in Belfast and now the adult clinic there. We have never yet met anyone with the condition. I hope your baby is doing fine now. It's so hard at the beginning. I remember my daughter being put on full cream milk at six weeks for the sodium content. I had to put sodium into my son's bottle mix. They are treated with florinef ond prednisolone. They had hydrocortone when they were younger. Both did well with only a few hiccups. Is this your first baby?
