I'm 30 years old and was diagnosed with swcah and like you have tried to block it out. I have been told all about my condition many times but I blocked it out as I couldn't bear to know what was going on. I suffer with being very overweight, am short, have mood swings and sometimes get very fed up, but luckily I have a very loving family who are of great support. I know it's easy for other people to say cheer up as they don't understand, but most days I try not to let it bother me.
