Did her doctor actually tell you he thought it was CAH? I assume she is under an endocrinologist? If so, if there is any doubt, I can't understand why a DNA test wasn't performed - it is done routinely in some hospitals, especially if there is any chance of the parents having more children. Blood would need to be taken from both parents as well as the affected child for the DNA test. If her adrenal glands are working to 98% though, it sounds unlikely to be CAH and I am surprised she even requires medication.
