Sorry to hear you're feeling down. Ask your consultant if you can see the psychology team as the hosptial you attend is the best in UK for care and treatment but if you don't tell them how you feel they will find it difficult to help. DHEA may help but you have to have a private prescription in UK. But also please be aware it can in some people have the opposite effects and can make you feel more down and increase weight.
Your experiences of CAH are still on our web www.ahn.org.uk CAH does have its up and down days but try and stay positive the hormone balance may be just out of sync, as for an earlier appointment with your consultant so he can help you.
