Hi, I am from the U.S. and my daughter is two. She is scheduled for vaginaplasty and reduction the end of this month. I have taken my time to research and choose a doctor. However, now I am reconsidering waiting to do sugrey. I hear surgery is done less often in the U.K. So I was wondering if any adults would be willing to help me see the challenges I would face in bringing up my daughter without surgery. There is not a lot of information on the effects of growing up with abnormal genitals. It seems like if you wait to do surgery you are on your own. I am concerned with her pyschological health. However there is currently no studies on the sexual function of adults with the newest technique being used. I f there is one that would be nice. I am very familiar with Creighton and Minto.
My daughter is a prader3 with low vagina. This is considered moderate virilization. Am I crazy thinking she might grow into it? What is worse, no orgasm or embarassment over your genitals? Help!
