As I sit here writing this, my son is sat with me and has just read your message. I have asked my son what we should tell you and his response is:
its easy (which I think means that he doesnt find it difficult)
medicine is ok - 3 times a day
he is very happy (just got back from 4 weeks holiday in cornwall - no problems)
doctors and nurses are nice
dont worry...
Ok - thats what Lewis has to say - to put some of this into context - there will be good days and bad days, and the bad days will probably be a bit scarry - as your daughter gets older the bad days get less and less (my son was last admitted to hospital about 2 years ago and was only in for a couple of days).
Unfortunately the Internet is very good at highlighting what can go wrong and very few people seem to talk about the "norm" - the "norm" for us is very happy - we have 3 excellent boys and one just happs to need steriods 3 times a day - other than that I would feel confident to day he is perfect.
Your daughter is still your baby, so by all means be vigilant but also enjoy her childhood.
