Thanks for reply jean, we knew about sarahs condition from birth, she had anbiguious genitailia ,it was very distressing for us both at the time , looking back now ,it was not handled well by the hospital at the time Mill road , i had her on a friday night , just after delivary , the nurse told us that we had a baby girl ,suddenly there was this quite in the room and they then said ,we think its a boy ,more quite itand then suddenly there was this mad rush and drs were brouht into the room and we were told that their was something wrong with the baby, but they were not sure if it was one of three things , hemaphridite, a tumour, or the baby had cah, we were then told that lots of tests would need to be carried out to determine ,what it was, we were told not to name the baby ,untill all the results were back, so all over the weekend , nobody could get us boy or girl cards ,because nobody was sure at the time , i found this very distressing at the time. Then after a few days the results confirmed she was a girl ,and she had cah, also the salt loosing kind. things have not gone smoothly , she has been difficult to control and also went into early puberty at the age of seven and had to have zoladex injections to prevent her periods comming to early ,despite this she doesnt complain and excepts things ,as they happen ,as long as we dont keep anything from her .
