Hi Andrew, Sorry to hear you are feeling so miserable but don't despair, I am sure it is only temporary! You mention being on pred and hydro - have you been on this combination for a while or have your meds been changed? Steroids can cause depression, pred in particular, although it does suit some. Having a chronic condition requiring daily medication isn't easy to cope with either and if your hormones aren't as finely tuned as they could be, this could make you feel rough. I assume you are under the care of an endocrinologist? Which hospital and consultant are you under? Some do have counselling services which may help but I think it is important to check first that your control is optimal.
