I'ma girl so the pred may of had different effects on me from males but i hated being on that medication, it caused me so many problems, depression being the worst of them, it started of with me feeling  little down, but it turned into me thinking it would be a lot easier with me not being here anymore, at times i'd cry for no reason, get angry or stressed out and i just couldn't cope with things. In the end my mum told my doctors who had a talk with me and a few other doctors and they decided to change my med to dex which has worked miracles with me because the depression dissappeared and my other side effects did too! You should tell your doctor about you getting down and maybe suggest thinking about going on a diff medication for a while to see if you feel any better.Sometimes steriods do have these effects on you, one day you feel horrible, the next your fine again, just try keep happy and do the things that make you happy!
