Hello everyone,
I also would like to chat with other moms and dad's. We have a 1 year old son with CAH (saltwasting). We live in the Netherlands and luckely here every baby is tested for CAH (and 2, soon to be 18 different other ilnesses) at 5 days old.
Apart from the regular check ups, we've never been in the hospital (he's never been admitted). He's doing very, very well. He's very happy, smiling all the time and pretty active (running, climbing....). Giving him his medication is hardly ever a problem. We put it in his milk of yoghurt. Sometimes we have to give it on a spoon. Even in public we have never had any strange reation. People sometimes ask what he has, we explane and that's it.
