Thank you for your comments, some mixed feelings and I know everyone's circumstances are different. I am a single parent with NO support from their father and my family live miles away. I have no social life because no-one wants to baby-sit because they don't want the responsibility, her school wants me to stay local in case she has a crisis. I am unable to find a job which is local and term time also because I cannot find a childminder willing to take her on.
Surely we deserve some compensation to enable us to have a some kind of life?
