re: would like to meet/speak to other parents
Mar. 12th, 2007   11:31pm
hi, just replying to parents who have had to cope with children who have CAH.im a mother of three children, and sadly i have got a four year old boy with this condition, must admit it was not easy for us in the begining, because he was always in hospital which was very worrying for us.I must admit he is doing very well now.I also have a little girl who is two years old, sadly it was to late to have any tests done while i was pregnant with her,by then i was very worried because i knew a lot about CAH,as i did a lot of research.i carried on and i knew i had to be strong for my little boy,and for my daughter that i was carrying at the time. When my daughter was born it was a very up setting time to discover that she also has CAH.The most important thing ive had to do is to be strong for my childrens sake.
