re: Is this all CAH?
Mar. 19th, 2007   12:08am
No Eleanor, this does not seem like a pathetic teenage emotional plea for attention, to me it seems that you are feeling low and trying your best to deal with it, but could do with a little help.  Teenage years are not easy at the best of times but living with a chronic disorder can make it even tougher.  Have you had your levels checked recently?  If it helps my son has SWCAH and is pretty much going through the same sort of thing.  Can you talk to your doctor, maybe see a counsellor?  Sometimes the tiredness can get overwhelming as can school work exams and all that, so it is normal to feel this way. I truly believe that depression can be part and parcel of CAH, my heart goes out to you and I hope you feel better soon. Speak to your doctor and if your doctor can't help, then find one who will, there are a few good understanding doctors out there.
