i have just received a letter from endocrinologist ,who i went to see as am trying to become pregnant and assumed i had poly cystic ovaries-facial hair,irregular periods and  apparently very elevated 17 hydroxy progesterone levels

i had a scan 2 weeks ago which was normal.

the letter is suggesting i have this late onset cah condition .they want me to do a random urine test to check the steroid profile and a renin blood test.

can anyone help me with advise-as i need to find out more about this condition asap-because depending on these test results i may need to start gluco corticoid replacement therapy (whatever that is) which might regulate my periods and ovulation

really appreciate any advise
