Sorry Emma - I hope I didn't alarm you unduly with my previous response. I must admit I was a bit mad as I felt your son should be receiving more appropriate care and you should have been given support and information too! Children who receive the proper care and treatment progress well with this condition, which is why it is important that they receive this from someone with the relevant experience (a paediatric endocrinologist).
