MedicAlert Emblems (UK) - Poor selection, where is there more?! Jul. 9th, 2007 12:20pm
Ok, so I've had a couple of MedicAlert emblems for many many years now, and they obviously never leave me, so I recently thought that I might as well get a variety, since I'm always wearing one (or 2!).
The UK MedicAlert selection is somewhat limited I feel, with only a handful of designs just available in different metals. If you take a look at the US website (www.medicalert.com), there is an endless selection available. However, the US site will not supply unengraved emblems, and the only way of getting one engraved would be to join the US medicalert, thereby meaning that the details on the emblem would be my US details, not my UK!
Ignoring the fact that this all seems fairly ridiculous to me since this is meant to be an international charity, I was wondering if anyone knew how to get other emblems in the UK? I want to have someting with the SAME logo as MedicAlert, for the sake of recognition, so therefore want to avoid the SOS series etc.
As a sidenote, a couple of designs that caught my eye on the US site were http://www.medicalert.com/emblems/A600.jpg and http://www.medicalert.com/emblems/A601.jpg
I'd be grateful for anything people can share about this!
