when my daughter was born we thought she was a boy. she had a birth cerificate and social security card as a male. when she was born the doctors said ambigious genitalia and did test so thats how i found out she was a female with swcah. the test took awhile to come back but my doctor seen her every day so we new before the test came back that she was female because she started to go through adrenal crisis.
