re: 2e pregnacy
Nov. 4th, 2007   7:50pm

Hi Amy,

We have a 2 year old SWCAH son. A very happy, healthy and active little guy. He's hardly ever ill and luckely never been admitted to hospital.

I'm currently 20 weeks pregnant with my second. I started dexamethasone (3dd 0.5mg) at 6 weeks. At 7 weeks my blood was drawn to determine the sex of the baby. (When its a boy, the dex can be stoppedand a CSV is not necessary). At 8 weeks we knew we're having a girl and so I'm still on dex. In about 2 weeks we'll have the results of the CSV, hopefully I can stop then. I have no real side-effects of the dex. Maybe I sleep a little less and my appetite is a little more, but that could also be just the pregnancy :-). On the main board there's a lot of information dex and pregnancy.

Bye

Jess
