re: Mum's with CAH - I need help
Jan. 23rd, 2008   11:41am

I have a similar condition  to yourself  and was an older mother- was very tired throughout a normal pregnancy but had family and friends to help - do not be afraid to ask! You will be exhausted as most mums's are what ever their health status with a new baby, but if help is offered do not refuse; make sure you have plenty of rest, good nuitrition. I did have a C-section  but I could have had a normal delivery - I opted for the section for other health reasons.

I take Dexamethasone & fludrocortisone (there's another story!) am basically well apart from a little tiredness & bruising - any advise on care & prevention would be appreciated! My child is now school age does not have the condition and is healthy and happy-good luck!!!!

Liz
