Hi, this is a topic that is very important to me as both my daughters have the severe form of CAH i have heard the rumors and i was worried for my girls but after attending a CAH seminar in Newcastle (Australia) last year i meet with lots of adult CAH patients that have had many children seeing is believeing for me and there children are very healthy this is a good thing and as long as your child is correctly medicated all should go well, my youngest had surgery very young and i was told that she can concieve everything is in place but she will require a c-section due to the fact the surgery has scared her inside and she will be unable to dialate, we have explained this to her and that lots of our family members and friends have had to have a c- section and thats it totally normal to give birth this way as long as the baby can be delivered safely, but for those whos medicating has caused problems in this area my heart goes out to you.
Barbara
