Becky, you sound very alone, this is a very complex disorder and anybody who does not take the time to read about it and understand it obviously is not a friend.
Time is short so dont waste it on people who dont count you need to surround yourself with people who are good and understand and yes they are hard to find but they are out there, for you to be so sick all the time i wonder if your doctors monitoring your levels correctly you may need to find another endocrine specialist to help you, i have raised two girls with the severe form of cah for 11yrs and they are very well controlled which i think helps them stay well, and dont ever think of doing yourself in because the world needs people like you to stand up and fight for your rights if you feel you are a lesbian than just maybe you are and you have to except that, its not a bad thing its just who YOU are. you need to have a good long look in the mirror at yourself and see that you are unique and thats a great quality. I teach my children that nothing can stop you from having a good life as long as you take care with it and push yourself to prove others wrong that you can do whatever you put your mind to, but if you are incorrectly medicated everything is going to suffer. i wish you all the best and hope you can see through the haze of confusion life is worth living .
