All paediatric endocrinologists were advised of this change via e-mail from the Secretary of the Paediatric Society of Endocrinology, as I was copied in on the e-mail after advising the secretary about the new Florinef regulations.  As stated before, the reason for the change was a new productions site and to extend the shelf life - none of which is of much interest to consumers!

Unfortunately there is no alternative but these tablets are safe as long as they are not kept out of the fridge for longer than one month.
